Herberts Gesellschaft mit beschr?nkter Haftung A b s t r a c t: The description relates to an aqueous binder composition and aqueous coating agents obtained therefrom and usable more particularly in methods of multi-layer lacquering. The aqueous binder composition contains: A) 70 to 30 wt.% of one or more water-dilutable oligomeric or polymeric polyol compounds with a hydroxyl number from 30 to 250, an acid number from 0 to 50 mg KOH/g or an amine number from 0 to 50 mg KOH/g and a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 500 to 10000, B) 30 to 70 wt.% of cross-linking agent in the form of one or more polyisocyanates, with an average NCO functionality of 1.8 to 3.5 and an average hydrophobic-group content of 0.1 to 1, C) 0 to 20 wt.% of one or more aminoplastic resins and/or phenoplastic resins and D) 0 to 40 wt.% of one or more masked polyisocyanates, the sum of the percentage weights of A), B), C) and D) adding to up 100 wt.%, and water and optionally one or more organic solvents.
