The invention relates to an aqueous bitumen emulsion, comprising bitumen and a surfactant agent, made from esters or amides of glycine betaine, produced by reaction of glycine betaine with a sulphonic acid and an alcohol or amine with a fatty chain derived from vegetable oils. Said bitumen emulsion may be used in the production of road surfaces.

Émulsion aqueuse bitumineuse contenant du bitume et un agent tensioactif à base d'esters ou d'amides de la glycine bétaïne, obtenu en faisant réagir la glycine bétalne avec un acide sulfonique et un alcool ou une amine à chaîne grasse dérivé d'huiles végétales. Cette émulsion bitumineuse est utilisable dans la fabrication de revêtements routiers.
