The present invention is directed to compositions which are useful for promoting one or more health benefits including, for example, promoting joint health, bone health, cardiac health, and/or anti-inflammation. The present invention is further directed to kits comprising the compositions and methods of using the compositions and kits. In particular, the present invention is directed to compositions comprising: (a) a chondroprotective agent selected from the group consisting of aminosugars, aminosugar salts, and mixtures thereof; and (b) water; wherein the composition exhibits a pH from about 3 to about 5. The compositions are suitable for mammalian use. The invention also relates to kits comprising the present compositions and methods of administering to a mammal a composition as defined herein.
La présente invention concerne des compositions utilisées pour favoriser au moins un aspect de la santé, notamment, par exemple, la santé des articulations, celle des os, celle du coeur, et/ou les anti-inflammations. Cette invention a également trait à des kits renfermant ces compositions et les méthodes d'utilisation correspondantes. En particulier, l'invention concerne des compositions contenant (a) un agent chondroprotecteur sélectionné parmi le groupe comportant des aminosucres, des sels d'aminosucres, et des mélanges correspondants, et (b) de l'eau, ladite composition présentant un pH compris entre environ 3 et environ 5. Ces compositions sont adéquates à des utilisations chez les mammifères. La présente invention a aussi trait à des kits contenant ces compositions et des méthodes d'administration d'une composition à un mammifère, comme cela est susmentionné.
