The invention concerns an aqueous colloidal dispersion based on at least a lanthanide compound and a complex-forming agent having a pK (cologarithm of the dissociation constant of the complex formed by the complex-forming agent and the lanthanide cation) higher than 2.5. Said dispersion can further comprise a compound of at least an element selected among the groups IVa, Va, VIa, VIIa, VIII, Ib, and IIb of the periodic table. The method for preparing the dispersion consists in starting with an aqueous mixture comprising at least a lanthanide salt, optionally a salt of one said element, and the complex-forming agent; adding a base to the resulting mixture and heating the mixture, whereby the dispersion is obtained. The dispersion can be used on a substrate as anticorrosive agent, in a cosmetic composition, in catalysis, for preparing polymer films, in lubricants or in ceramics.
L'invention concerne une dispersion colloïdale aqueuse à base d'au moins un composé d'un lanthanide et d'un complexant présentant un pK (cologarithme de la constante de dissociation du complexe formé par le complexant et le cation lanthanide) supérieur à 2,5. Cette dispersion peut comprendre, en outre, un composé d'au moins un élément choisi parmi les groupes IVa, Va, VIa, VIIa, VIII, Ib et IIb de la classification périodique. Le procédé de préparation de la dispersion part d'un mélange aqueux comprenant au moins un sel du lanthanide, un sel d'un élément précité le cas échéant, et le complexant; on ajoute ensuite une base au mélange ainsi formé et on chauffe le mélange, ce par quoi on obtient la dispersion.La dispersion peut être utilisée sur un substrat comme agent anticorrosion, dans une composition cosmétique, en catalyse, dans la préparation de films de polymères, en lubrification ou dans les céramiques.
