Aqueous compositions are disclosed containing (a) 0.1 to 10 % by weight of a copolymer based on N-vinylcaprolactam, N-vinylpyrrolidone and N- vinylimidazole; and (b) 0.1 to 10 % by weight of at least one polyoxyethylene- C6-C15-monoalkylether, as well as their use in cosmetic preparations.
