The present invention addresses the need to improve the long-term storage stability (i.e. infectivity) of vector formulations. In particular, it has been demonstrated that for adenovirus, the use of bulking agents, cryoprotectants and lyoprotectants imparts desired properties that allow both lyophilized and liquid adenovirus formulations to be stored at 4~C for up to 6 months and retain an infectivity between 60-100% of the starting infectivity.

La présente invention concerne la nécessité d'améliorer la stabilité au stockage à long terme (l'infectivité) des formulations de vecteurs. Il a notamment été démontré que pour les adénovirus, l'utilisation de diluants, de cryoprotecteurs et de lyoprotecteurs est à l'origine de propriétés souhaitées qui permettent à des formulations d'adénovirus aussi bien lyophilisées que liquides d'être stockées à 4 ·C jusqu'à 6 mois, et de garder une infectivité comprise entre 60 % et 100 % de l'infectivité initiale.
