The present invention relates to aqueous compositions having pH of less than or equal to about 11 and which contain a thickening amount of an acrylate-based rheology modifier, which modifier contains an emulsion which is prepared by single-stage emulsion polymerization of a C2-C6alkyl ester of acrylic acid and/or C1-C6alkyl ester of methacrylic acid, a monomer chosen from a vinyl-substituted heterocyclic compound containing at least one of a nitrogen or sulfur atom, (meth)acrylamide, a mono- or di-(C1-C4)alkylamino (C1-C4)alkyl (meth)acrylate, a mono or di-(C1-C4)alkylamino (C1-C4)alkyl (meth)acrylamide, and optionally cross-linking monomers and/or associative monomers, in the presence of water, a first surfactant, a free-radical initiator and an alcohol selected from C2-C12 linear or branched alcohols, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and glycerol, or mixtures thereof, and essentially in the absence of a polymeric colloidal stabilizer such as polyvinyl alcohol, and which compositions further contain an active ingredient selected from the group consisting of an acid and a second surfactant which may be the same as or different than the first surfactant.
La présente invention concerne des compositions aqueuses présentant un pH inférieur ou égal à environ 11, et contenant une quantité épaississante d'un modificateur rhéologique à base d'acrylate. Ce modificateur comprend une émulsion préparée par polymérisation d'émulsion en un seul stade d'un ester d'alkyle C2-C6 d'acide acrylique et/ou d'un ester d'alkyle (C1-C6 d'acide méthacrylique; un monomère choisi dans un composé hétérocyclique d'un vinyle de substitution contenant au moins un atome de nitrogène ou de soufre, du )méth)acrylamide, un mono- ou di- (C1-C4)alkylamino(C1-C4)alkyl (méth) acrylate, un mono- ou di- (C1-C4)alkylamino (C1-C4)alkyl (méth)acrylamide; et éventuellement des monomères de réticulation et/ou des monomères associatifs. Cette polymérisation d'émulsion se fait en présence d'eau, d'un premier tensioactif, d'un initiateur de radicaux libres, et d'un alcool sélectionné dans le groupe formé par les alcools ramifiés ou linéaires C2-C12, L'éthylèneglycol, le propylèneglycol, et le glycérol ou des mélanges de ces derniers; et essentiellement en l'absence d'un stabilisateur colloïdal polymérique tel que le poly(alcool de vinyle). Ces compositions comprennent également un principe actif sélectionné dans le groupe formé par un acide et un deuxième tensioactif qui peut être le même que le premier tensioactif ou peut être différent.
