The present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion comprising at least one alkyd resin and at least one addition polymer having at least one (meth)acrylate segment comprising 1% to 30% by weight of units derived from (meth)acrylates having at least one double bond and 8 to 40 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, 0.1% to 10% by weight of units derived from acid-functional monomers, and 50% to 98.9% by weight of units derived from (meth)acrylates having 1 to 6 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, based on the weight of the (meth)acrylate segment.
