A method of preparing an aqueous dispersion comprising metal particles of mean diameter from 0.5 -200 nm by weight and an aqueous carrier liquid, including the steps of i) providing a mixture comprising at least one metal salt, aqueous carrier liquid and a stabilizer for the particles ii) contacting the mixture with a reducing agent to form a reaction mixture iii) causing the at least one metal salt to react with the reducing agent to form a dispersion comprising metal particles and acid wherein step iii) is partly or completely performed in the presence of anion exchange resin whereby the acid is exchanged for a hydroxide ion from the resin and/or is sorbed by the resin.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une dispersion aqueuse comprenant des particules métalliques dont le diamètre moyen est compris entre 0,5 et 200 nm en poids et un liquide porteur aqueux, qui consiste notamment i) à prévoir un mélange comprenant au moins un sel métallique, un liquide porteur aqueux et un stabilisateur pour les particules, ii) à mettre en contact le mélange avec un agent réducteur pour former un mélange à réaction, iii) à amener lesdits sels métalliques à réagir avec l'agent réducteur pour former une dispersion comprenant des particules métalliques et de l'acide, l'étape iii) étant partiellement ou complétement exécutée en présence d'une résine d'échange d'anions, l'acide étant échangé pour un ion d'hydroxyde à partir de la résine et/ou sorbé par la résine.
