An aqueous dispersion of polyurethane-addition polymer hybrid particles, where the isocyanates used to make the polyurethane polymer portion of the particles comprise a mixture of aromatic polyisocyanate and aliphatic polyisocyanate wherein the aromatic isocyanate is free of sterically hindered isocyanate moieties. The dispersions are suitable for use in coatings, including varnishes, paints, inks and adhesives.

L'invention concerne une dispersion aqueuse de particules hybrides à polymères d'addition et de polyuréthanne, où les isocyanates utilisés pour constituer la partie polymère de polyuréthanne des particules comportent un mélange de polyisocyanate aromatique et de polyisocyanate aliphatique, l'isocyanate aromatique n'ayant pas de fraction isocyanate à encombrement stérique. Les dispersions de l'invention servent pour les revêtements y compris les vernis, peintures, encres et adhésifs.
