ABSTRACT An aqueous electrodeposition lacquer coating composition containing as binder (A) from 95 to 50% by weight of an organic externally crosslinked synthetic resin binder containing primary and/or secondary hydroxyl groups and primary, secondary and/or tertiary amino groups and (B) from 5 to 50% by weight of a crosslinking agent mixture of (a) blocked isocyanates and (b) transesterifiable crosslinking agents containing more than two ester groups and (C) optionally up to 30% by weight of hydroxyfunctional resins. The invention also relates to the use of this electrodeposition coating composition for coating objects, particularly objects having electrically conductive surfaces.
