Abstract of the Disclosure The invention provides an acrylic or related resin emulsion which comprises an aqueous medium and particles of an acry11c or related resin emulsified and dispersed therein. Use is made of an emulsifier comprising as an essential component, a polyester having an amino-sulfonic acid type amphoionic group of the formula: Image wherein A is a straight or branched C1-C6 alkylene group, a phenylen group or a substituted phenylene group. The use of this emulsifier makes the emulsion very stable and does not adversely affect the physical properties.
