An aqueous emulsion adhesive obtained by blending a polyvinyl alcohol and a compound having isocyanate groups or a polymer thereof to an aqueous emulsion, wherein, the aqueous emulsion comprises an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride type copolymer having Tg (glass transition temperature) from -10 to +40°C comprising 2 to 40 % by weight of ethylene, 3 to 93 % by weight of vinyl acetate and 5 to 85 % by weight of vinyl chloride, the emulsifier used in polymerization of the polymer component consists essentially of a polyvinyl alcohol, and the amount of the polyvinyl alcohol is 2 to 13 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the total amount of vinyl acetate and vinyl chloride.

Adhésif à base d'émulsion aqueuse, obtenu par mélange d'un poly(alcool vinylique) et d'un composé renfermant des groupes isocyanates ou un polymère de ceux-ci, pour former une émulsion aqueuse, où ladite émulsion contient un copolymère de type éthylène-acétate de vinyle-chlorure de vinyle possédant une température de transition vitreuse de -10 à + 40 °C et renfermant de 2 à 40 % en poids d'éthylène, de 3 à 93 % en poids d'acétate de vinyle et de 5 à 85 % en poids de chlorure de vinyle; l'émulsifiant utilisé dans la polymérisation de la composante polymérique est principalement constitué d'un poly(alcool vinylique), la quantité de ce poly(alcool vinylique) représentant de 2 à 13 parties en poids si on considère qu'il y a 100 parties en poids d'acétate de vinyle et de chlorure de vinyle.
