The present invention refers to a process for the production of paper from a suspension containing cellulosic fibres, and optionally fillers, comprising adding to the suspension at least one cationic organic polymer and an aqueous silica-containing composition comprising an anionic naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde condensate and anionic silica-based particles, the composition having a weight ratio of naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde condensate to silica-based particles within the range of from 0.2:1 to 99:1, and containing naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde condensate and silica-based particles in an amount of at least 0.01 % by weight, based on the total weight of the aqueous silica-containing composition, and with the proviso that the composition contains substantially no cellulose-reactive sizing agent. The invention also encompasses an aqueous silica-containing composition and a method for preparation of an aqueous silica-containing composition.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de papier à partir d'une suspension contenant des fibres cellulosiques et éventuellement de charges, selon lequel il est prévu d'ajouter à la suspension au moins un polymère organique cationique et une composition à base de la silice aqueuse, qui comprend un condensat de naphtalène sulfonate formaldéhyde anionique et des particules à base de silice anionique, ladite composition présentant un rapport en poids du condensat de naphtalène sulfonate formaldéhyde aux particules à base de silice, compris entre 0,2 :1 à 99 :1, et contenant une quantité de condensat de naphtalène sulfonate formaldéhyde et des particules à base de silice de l'ordre d'au moins 0,01 % en poids, sur la base du poids global de la composition à base de silice aqueuse, et sous réserve que la composition ne contienne sensiblement pas d'agent de calibrage réagissant à la cellulose. L'invention concerne en outre une composition à base de silice aqueuse et un procédé de préparation d'une composition à base de silice aqueuse.
