The invention concerns silicon dispersions hardenable by cross-linking and useable particularly as putty, paint or film coating. The aim of the invention is to provide an aqueous silicon dispersion capable of cross-linking by water elimination into an elastomer with suitable mechanical properties and having a high cohesive and adhesive force on supports of different kinds and eliminating the drawbacks of known dispersions, in particular concerning safety/toxicity (VOC content) and facility for use. This aim is achieved by the dispersion characterised in that it contains hydroxylated condensable constituents and is free from hydrolyzable substituents (Sofh) capable of being transformed into VOC, it is free from VOC and polyvinyl alcohol and it contains an .alpha.,.omega.-diOH POS (A), an adherence promoter (B) with Fas = NH¿2? functions and OH functions, and optionally: a catalyst (C) [tin salts], a surfactant (D), a cross-linking agent (E) (MDT hydroxylated POS resin), fillers (F), a dispersing agent (G), a plasticizer (H), an antifungal agent (I), an antifoaming agent (J), a stabiliser (K) or a base (L). The invention is useful for putty or film coatings prepared with this dispersion.
La présente invention concerne les dispersions silicones durcissables par réticulation et utilisables notamment comme mastic, peinture ou revêtement semi-épais (RSE). Le but visé par l'invention est la fourniture d'une dispersion silicone aqueuse apte à réticuler par élimination d'eau en un élastomère aux propriétés mécaniques convenables et doué d'un fort pouvoir de cohésion et d'adhésion sur des supports de différentes natures et remédiant aux inconvénients des dispersions connues, notamment, en ce qui concerne la sécurité/toxicité (teneur en COV) et la facilité d'utilisation. Ce but est atteint par la dispersion selon l'invention qui est caractérisée : en ce qu'elle comprend des constituants condensables hydroxylés et exempts de substituants hydrolysables (Sofh) et transformables en COV, en ce qu'elle est exempte de COV et d'alcool polyvinylique et en ce qu'elle comprend un POS (A) .alpha.,.omega.-diOH, un promoteur d'adhérence (B) à fonctions Fas = NH2 et à fonctions OH, et éventuellement: un catalyseur (C) [sels d'étain], un tensioactif (D), un réticulant (E) (résine POS hydroxylée MDT), des charges (F), un dispersant (G), un plastifiant (H), un antifongique (I), un antimousse (J), un stabilisant (K) ou une base (L). Application: mastics ou revêtements RSE préparés à partir de cette dispersion.
