he solution contains a watersoluble salt of heptanoic acid and an oxidant, preferably a wetting agent. Thanks to this combination of components, small concentrations are sufficient to obtain satisfactory protection against corrosion, helping to keep the surface from looking greasy (on the treated sheet metal) and making it easier to treat effluents resulting from the solution (or effluents from subsequent degreasing).

Selon l'invention, la solution contient un sel hydrosoluble de l'acide heptanoïque et un oxydant, et, de préférence, un agent mouillant. Grâce à la combinaison de ces composants, de faibles concentrations sont suffisantes pour obtenir une protection satisfaisante contre la corrosion, ce qui permet de conserver un aspect de surface non gras (sur la tôle traitée) et facilite le traitement des effluents de la solution (ou celui des effluents de dégraissage ultérieur).
