A storable cement system comprises a suspending agent, a cement spacer and water. The composition may further optional contain a surfactant and/or an organic solvent and/or a weighting material. The suspending agent is preferably a carrageenan or scleroglucan. The cement system may be stored for an extended period of time prior to being interposed between a cement slurry and a drilling fluid. As such, the aqueous cement system may be made off-site and used when desired for preventing contact between non-compatible hydrocarbonaceous and aqueous fluids.

L'invention porte sur un système de ciment stockable en suspension aqueuse comprenant un produit de suspension, un produit tampon, du ciment, ainsi que de l'eau. Cette composition peut aussi contenir, en option, un agent tensio-actif et/ou un solvant organique et/ou, encore, un alourdissant. Le produit de suspension consiste, de préférence, en une carraghénine ou en du scléroglucane. Ce système de ciment peut être stocké pour une longue durée avent d'être utilisé en tant que tampon entre une boue de ciment et un fluide de forage. En tant que tel, ce ciment aqueux peut être fabriqué hors-site et utilisé au besoin pour éviter de mettre en contact des fluides hydrocarbonés et aqueux incompatibles.
