The invention concerns the use of a water-soluble copolymer with low ion content as agent for assisting grinding of mineral materials in aqueous suspension allowing to obtain aqueous suspensions of refined mineral materials, having dry matter concentration which may be high, low and time-stable Brookfield<SP>TM</SP> viscosity, exhibiting a pigment surface whereof the ion load, measured by ion titration, is low. The invention also concerns the resulting aqueous suspensions of mineral materials and their uses in paper, paint and plastic materials.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un copolymère faiblement ionique et hydrosoluble comme agent d'aide au broyage de matières minérales en suspension aqueuse permettant d'obtenir des suspensions aqueuses de matières minérales affinées, de concentration en matière sèche pouvant être élevée, de viscosité BrookfieldTM faible et stable dans le temps, ayant la propriété de présenter une surface pigmentaire dont la charge ionique, déterminée par titration ionique, est faible. L'invention concerne les suspensions aqueuses de matières minérales obtenues et leurs utilisations dans les domaines du papier, de la peinture et des matières plastiques.
