ARABINOGALACTANS AS RELEASE AGENTS FOR CELLULOSE CONTAINING FOOD CASINGS Abstract of the Invention This invention relates to Arabinogalactan containing release coatings, Arabinogalactan coated food casings and a method for their production, which comprises applying to the food containing surface thereof an aqueous coating composition containing less than 3 percent by weight Arabinogalactan. The coated food casings exhibit improved food release characteristics, improved resistance to strand breakage and improved anti-pleat lock characteristics.
