ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Here is disclosed an aralkylphenolic resin molding material which comprises an aralkylphenolic resin prepared by reacting a compound represented by the general formula (I) (I) Image with a phenolic compound, and mountain leather and glass fiber as inorganic fillers. The aralkylphenolic resin molding material of the present invention contains no asbestos but has equal or more excellent performances, as compared with molding materials containing asbestos. Briefly, the aralkylphenolic resin molding material of the present invention is excellent in heat resistance, mechanical characteristics and electrical characteristics.
