According to the present disclosure, a transfer top (124) adapted to carry a patient is transferable between a mobile base (122) and a docking station (100) in a hospital room. Thus, instead of transferring a patient between a stretcher (120) and a hosptial bed, the entire transfer top (124) with the patient thereon is transferred between the mobile base (122) and the docking station (100).
