In accordance with the present invention, a protection device is provided for restricting an object from sliding along an edge formed by a pair of surfaces of a structure. The protection device includes an obstruction fixture having a mounting surface and a body projecting away from the mounting surface, and a fastener securing the mounting surface to at least one of the surfaces of the structure. The obstruction fixture is positioned on the structure with the body positioned sufficiently close to the edge such that the object sliding along the edge will contact the body.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection permettant d'empêcher qu'un objet se déplace le long d'un bord formé d'une paire de surfaces d'une structure. Ce dispositif de protection comprend un appareil butoir présentant une surface de montage, un corps faisant saillie à partir de ladite surface de montage, et un élément de fixation fixant la surface de montage à au moins l'une des surfaces de la structure. L'appareil butoir est placé sur la structure, le corps dudit appareil étant positionné suffisamment près du bord, de sorte que l'objet qui se déplace le long du bord est en contact avec ledit corps.
