Electric and electro-acoustic guitars are known to be used in conjunction with effect pedals. In this case specifically with a tone (wha wha) or volume pedal. These pedals are 10 cm wide by 25 cm long by 4.5 cm deep with a pivoting pad on top and are usually positioned on the floor in front of the guitar player. The guitar player, by moving his or her foot on top of the pad controls the volume or tone of the guitar signal. In this invention, a guitar has a smaller (10 cm long by 10 cm wide by 3 cm deep) version of such a pedal attached to the front part of its body, in a position so that the forearm of the strumming hand rests on the pivoting pad. This way the forearm can operate the pedal. The pivot axis is along the line of the two corners of the pad closest to the strings (perpendicular to the strumming forearm). Two expansion springs underneath the pivoting pad at the opposite two corners (near the strumming arm's elbow) provide just enough resistance so that by moving the forearm of the strumming hand towards and away from the pedals (towards and away from the front of the body of the guitar) the level of volume or graduation of tone (depending on which effect function the pedal serves) can be controlled while strumming by a simple movement of the forearm.
