A device to support the arm of a user comprises an arm support (10) pivotally attached to a frame member (4), the frame member (4) being mountable or attachable to a chair (1), the device comprising means (4) to allow the support surface (10) to be positionable at user-defined positions above the chair when attached thereto and means (5) to allow the support surface (10) to be positionable in a plurality of user-defined positions to support the forearm of a user whilst undertaking a task. The device may be used in a dentist's chair.

Dispositif destiné à supporter le bras d'un utilisateur, qui comporte un support (10) pour bras attaché pivotant à un montant (4), ledit montant pouvant être monté ou fixé sur un siège (4), un moyen (4) permettant de positionner la surface (10) de support à une position verticale définie par l'utilisateur au-dessus du siège lorsque le dispositif est fixé sur le siège et un moyen (5) permettant de positionner la surface (10) de support dans une pluralité de positions définies par l'utilisateur pour supporter l'avant-bras de l'utilisateur lorsque ce dernier effectue une tâche donnée. Ce dispositif peut être utilisé sur un siège de dentiste.
