An armor, especially a body armor has at least one layer and preferably a multiplicity of layers (32, 33) of a woven ballistic fabric with titanium beads or disks (34, 35) threaded onto the yarns at the cross overs to serve as projectile shredders. The titanium beaded fabric layers (32, 33) may be used in conjunctionwith other ballistic fabrics and armor designed to catch and trap resultant projectile fragments in a body armor or other type of shield or armor.

Tenue pare-balles possédant au moins une couche, et de préférence, une multiplicité de couches en tissu balistique comportant des perles ou des disques de titane passés sur les fils au niveau des croisements afin de servir de destructeurs de projectiles. Ces couches de tissu contenant des perles de titane peuvent être utilisées en association avec d'autres tissus balistiques et tissus de protection conçus pour capturer et piéger les fragments de projectile dans une tenue pare-balles ou d'un autre type de protection.
