A projectile for an armoured target is characterized in that the body (1) consists of a block of dense material with a frustroconical axial bore (7), its large end opening in the plane of face (8) of the body. The transmission element (6) consists of a rod extending from the rear face (5) of the head and comprises a seating (9) engaged in the bore to leave a clearance (10) between the rear face of the head and the front face, and the body (1) and the nose (4) are locked in a position where the rod is engaged in the bore. Application to armour-piercing fragmentation shells.

Le projectile est caractérisé en ce que: le corps (1) est constitué par un bloc de matériau dense, présentant un alésage axial tronconique (7) dont la grande base s'ouvre dans le plan de la face (8) du corps, l'élément de transmission (6) est constitué par une queue s'étendant à partir de la face arrière (5) de la tête et comportant une portée (9) engagée dans l'alésage, de manière à laisser subsister un jeu (10) entre la face arrière de la tête et la face frontale; et le corps (1) et le nez (4) sont immobilisés dans la position d'engagement de la queue dans l'alésage. Application aux obus perforants fragmentables.
