This invention relates to a process for preventing or delaying the development of resistance in populations of Spodoptera trugiperda to transgenic plants expressing a Cry1A and/or a Cry1F protein, comprising providing such plants also with a gene expressing a VIP3 protein, as well as to related uses and methods, such as methods for the production of transgenic plants comprising two different insecticidal proteins that show no competition for binding to the binding sites in the midgut brush border of Spodoptera frugiperda larvae.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour prévenir ou retarder le développement de résistance des populations de Spodoptera frugiperda à des plantes transgéniques exprimant une protéine Cry1A et/ou une protéine Cry1F, comprenant létape consistant à pourvoir en outre de telles plantes dun gène exprimant une protéine VIP3, ainsi que des utilisations et procédés associés, tels que des procédés pour la production de plantes transgéniques comprenant deux protéines insecticides différentes qui ne présentent pas de compétition pour la liaison aux sites de liaison dans la bordure en brosse de lintestin moyen de larves de Spodoptera frugiperda.
