A translucent-to-clear, plasticized PVC thermoplastic polymeric matrix gel composition comprising (i) a high loading of fragrance composition and/or odor counteractant(s) - preferably greater than about 85%; (ii) from about 4% to about 25% of a plastisol with a Shore hardness of from about 60 to about 95 that is liquid at room temperature; and, optionally, (iii) an evaporation/firmness controlling agent. The high loading of fragrance and/or odor counteractants in the polymeric matrix gel composition of the invention provides a desired aroma to an environment in a persistent manner over an extended period of time.

Cette invention concerne une composition de matrice de gel polymère thermoplastique en PVC plastifiée translucide à transparente qui comprend (i) une charge élevée d'une composition de fragrance et/ou un ou plusieurs agents de neutralisation des odeurs- de préférence, une charge supérieure à environ 85 %; (ii) de 4 % environ à 25 % environ d'un plastisol qui présente une dureté Shore comprise entre environ 60 et environ 95 et qui est liquide à température ambiante; et, éventuellement, (iii) un agent régulateur de l'évaporation/de la fermeté. La charge élevée de fragrance et/ou d'agents de neutralisation des odeurs dans la composition susmentionnée permet d'obtenir un arôme souhaité pour un environnement et, ce, de manière persistante et sur une longue période.
