An aromatic polymer containing aromatic polyamide structural units and aromatic carbohydrazide structural units at a specific ratio is disclosed. A film having a high Young's modulus, high elongation at break and low moisture absorption rate can be formed from such an aromatic polymer. Dehydration cyclization of a compound having a carbohydrazide structure can be conducted under mild conditions at low cost by causing the chemical reaction using a chemical which is selected from the acids and bases.
L'invention concerne un polymère aromatique contenant des motifs structurels de polyamide aromatique et des motifs structurels de carbohydrazide aromatique selon un rapport spécifique. L'invention concerne également un film présentant un module d'élasticité élevé, un allongement à la rupture élevé, et un faible taux d'absorption d'humidité, qui peut être formé à partir du polymère aromatique décrit. Cette invention permet d'effectuer la déshydratation-cyclisation d'un composé présentant une structure carbohydrazide dans des conditions douces, à un coût peu élevé, en induisant la réaction chimique au moyen d'un produit chimique choisi parmi les acides et les bases.
