PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Copolyesters aromatiques thermotropes comprenant des unités récurrentes: I Image II Image III Image et éventuellement IV Image dans lesquelles Ar1 représente un radical aromatique et/ou cycloaliphatique et Ar2 un radical aromatique. Ils sont obtenus par polycondensation d'acide p-(hydroxy p- phénoxy)benzoïque, d'un diacide aromatique ou cycloaliphatique, d'un diphénol et éventuellement d'acide p- hydroxy benzoïque. Ces copolyesters possèdent la caractéristique d'être thermotropes, c'est-à-dire qu'ils sont capables de donner des masses fondues anisotropes qui sont faciles à conformer par filage ou moulage.
