Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to the manufacture of instant coffee products and is concerned to collect and reincorporate into the instant coffee products vapors produced during manufacture. The aroma gas is collected, a mixed under a pressure of at least 5 kg/cm2 with an absorbent comprising aqueous liquid and liquid edible oil to produce an aroma-emulsion foam and the aroma- emulsion is contacted with soluble coffee solids.
