The invention relates to an arrangement for supporting a shell (1) into a barrel (2) of a breech-loading weapon, the arrangement comprising a rim-flanged support element (6) attachable to a shell tail (4). The arrangement is characterized in that the arrangement comprises a propelling charge element (12) comprising a propelling charge (14) and a primer (13), the element having a threading (15a) suited for the shell tail allowing the support element (6) to be fastened to the shell tail by threading the propelling charge element (6) into the tail of the shell (1) through the support element (6). The invention further relates to a method of supporting a shell into a barrel of a breech-loading weapon.
L'invention concerne un agencement destiné à supporter un obus (1) dans le canon (2) d'une arme se chargeant par la culasse, cet agencement comprenant un élément de support à rebord périphérique (6) qui peut être fixé à l'arrière d'un obus (4). Cet agencement se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend un élément de charge propulsive (12) comprenant une charge propulsive (14) et une amorce (13), cet élément possédant un filetage (15a) adapté à l'arrière de l'obus permettant à l'élément de support (6) d'être fixé à cet arrière d'obus par vissage de l'élément de charge propulsive (6) dans l'arrière de l'obus (1) à travers l'élément de support (6). Cette invention concerne aussi un procédé de support d'obus dans le canon d'une arme se chargeant par la culasse.
