The invention relates to an arrangement (1, 12, 16) for continuously tapping a molten phase, such as matte, from a smelting furnace, such as a flash smelting furnace, said arrangement comprising a matte tapping hole (5) provided in the furnace wall for discharging the molten phase from the furnace, an overflow tank (6) for receiving the molten phase (4), and an overflow edge (8) provided in the overflow tank for discharging the molten phase, so that in the smelting furnace,, in the vicinity of the matte tapping hole (5), there can be arranged at least one heat-producing element (9, 15) in order to prevent the molten phase from being solidified. In addition, the invention relates to a method for continuously tapping a molten phase, such as matte, from a smelting furnace, such as a flash smelting furnace, according to which method the molten phase is discharged from the furnace through a matte tapping hole (5) provided in the furnace wall to an overflow tank (6), provided with an overflow edge (8) for discharging the molten phase, so that in the smelting furnace, in the vicinity of the matte tapping hole (5), there is arranged at least one heat-producing element (9, 15) in order to prevent the molten phase from being solidified
La présente invention concerne un dispositif (1, 12, 16) pour extraire en continu une phase en fusion, telle qu'une matte, d'un four de fusion tel qu'un four de fusion éclair, ledit dispositif comprenant un orifice d'extraction de matte (5) pratiqué dans la paroi du four et destiné à faire sortir la phase en fusion du four, un réservoir de trop-plein (6) destiné à recevoir la phase en fusion (4), et un bord de trop-plein (8) faisant partie du réservoir de trop-plein et destiné à faire sortir la phase en fusion, de sorte que, dans le four de fusion, au voisinage de l'orifice d'extraction de matte (5), au moins un élément de production de chaleur (9, 15) peut être mis en place pour empêcher la phase en fusion de se solidifier. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé pour extraire en continu une phase en fusion, telle qu'une matte, d'un four de fusion tel qu'un four de fusion éclair. Selon ledit procédé, la phase en fusion est extraite du four par un orifice d'extraction de matte (5) pratiqué dans la paroi du four, pour être déversée dans un réservoir de trop-plein (6) comportant un bord de trop-plein (8) destiné à faire sortir la phase en fusion, de sorte que, dans le four de fusion, au voisinage de l'orifice d'extraction de matte (5), au moins un élément de production de chaleur (9, 15) est mis en place pour empêcher la phase en fusion de se solidifier.
