The invention permits, amongst other things, the simple and effective attachment of an electrical device (5) to an electrical cable (1). A coupling (10) capable of being joined to an electrical cable (1), which coupling exhibits appropriate electrical connection devices which fit the electrical connection (8) in question, is so arranged as to function as a stop both for an electrical device (5) and for a holder (13) capable of being joined to the electrical device (5).
