The invention concerns an arrangement for connecting and disconnecting two pipe sections in a fluid transfer system. In said arrangement, each section (2, 3) is configured as a butterfly valve provided with a disc (5, 6) pivotally mounted inside the section about a swivel axis between a position closing the cross-section of the fluid flow and a position opening said flow cross-section, the swivel axes extending perpendicularly to the pipe axis and parallel to each other. The arrangement is characterised in that the swivel axes (21) of the discs (5, 6) are arranged eccentric relative to the axis of the sections (2, 3) so as to reduce the space delimited between the discs (5, 6) in their closing position, when the sections (2, 3) are connected. The invention is useful for transferring liquefied natural gas.
L'invention concerne un agencement de connexion et de déconnexion de deux tronçons de canalisation d'un système de transfert de fluide. Dans cet agencement chaque tronçom (2, 3) est configuré en robinet à papillon pourvu d'un disque (5, 6) monte pivotant a l'intérieur du tronçon autour d'un axe de pivotement entre tine position de fermeture de la section transversale d'écoulement de fluide du tronçon et une position d'ouverture de cette section transversale d'écoulement, lea axes de pivotement s'étendant perpendiculairement à l'axe de la canalisation et parallèlement l'un à l'autre. L'agencement est caracterisé en ce que les axes de pivotement (21) des disques (5, 6) sont disposés excentriquement par rapport a l'axe des tronçons (2, 3) de façon à réduire l'espace délimité entre les disques (5, 6) dans leur position de fermeture, à l'état de connexion des tronçons (2, 3). L'invention est utilisable pour le transfert de gaz naturel liquéfié.
