The invention relates to an arrangement for cooling supply air in an air-conditioning installation, comprising a heat transfer device (3) for transferring heat between supply air (A) and exhaust air (B) by means of heat transfer surfaces; and a humidifying device (6) for humidifying heat transfer surfaces on the exhaust air side. In order that supply air could be cooled more efficiently, the heat transfer surfaces on the side of supply air and exhaust air are separated into separate heat exchangers; and the heat transfer surfaces are selected in such a way that the surface temperature of the heat transfer surfaces on the exhaust air side is close to the dew-point temperature of exhaust air.
Système de refroidissement de l'air soufflé dans une installation de climatisation, comportant un dispositif de transfert thermique (3) assurant un transfert de chaleur entre l'air soufflé (A) et l'air rejeté (B) au moyen de surfaces de transfert thermique; et un dispositif humidificateur (6) servant à humidifier les surfaces de transfert thermique du côté de l'air rejeté. Afin de permettre un refroidissement plus efficace de l'air soufflé, les surfaces de transfert thermique du côté de l'air soufflé et du côté de l'air rejeté constituent des échangeurs thermiques indépendants, et les surfaces de transfert thermique sont choisies de telle sorte que la température superficielle des surfaces de transfert thermique du côté de l'air rejeté est proche de la température du point de rosée de l'air rejeté.
