In an arrangement for protecting the output transistors in a power amplifier (1) against temperatures above a predetermined temperature value, a temperature sensor (Q1) is provided adjacent to the output transistors to sense their temperature and influence the power amplifier (1) when the predetermined temperature value is reached. The temperature sensor (Q1) is adapted to vary the driving current of the power amplifier (1) inversely proportional to the temperature of the output transistors for temperature values between the predetermined temperature value and a predetermined higher temperature value.
Cette invention concerne un système permettant de protéger les transistors de sortie d'un amplificateur de puissance contre des températures qui dépassent une valeur prédéterminée. Ce système comprend un capteur de température (Q1) qui est disposé à proximité des transistors de sortie afin de mesurer leur température, et qui va agir sur l'amplificateur de puissance (1) lorsqu'une valeur de température prédéterminée est atteinte. Le capteur de température (Q1) va modifier le courant d'actionnement de l'amplificateur de puissance (1), ceci dans une proportion inverse à la température des transistors de sortie lorsque la valeur de la température se situe entre la valeur de température prédéterminée et une autre valeur prédéterminée plus importante.
