An arrangement for providing continuous grinding in a pulp grinder comprising a feed chute and a piston in the feed chute moving lengthwise of the feed chute for pressing the wood in the feed chute against a grindstone. The arrangement comprises rotary feed members (6) between the piston (5) and the grindstone (1) on the sides of the feed chute (2) for pushing the compressed wood (3) further against the grindstone (1). Also, the arrangement comprises a closing member (7) that can be pushed between the compressed wood (3) and the piston (5) to prevent the wood (3) from moving backward with the piston (5) as the piston (5) is moved to the initial position, ready for the stroke, to allow the feed of a new batch of wood.

Un dispositif permettant de meuler en continu dans un défibreur à meule comprend un glissoir d'alimentation et un piston disposé dans ledit glissoir. Le piston se déplace dans le sens de la longueur de ce dernier, de façon à presser le bois qui y est contenu contre une meule. Le dispositif comporte des éléments d'alimentation rotatifs (6), situés entre le piston (5) et la meule (1) sur les côtés du glissoir (2), qui poussent le bois comprimé (3) plus loin contre la meule (1). Il comporte également un élément de fermeture (7) qui peut être poussé entre le bois comprimé (3) et le piston (5), de façon à empêcher le bois (3) de revenir en arrière avec le piston (5) quand celui-ci revient à sa position initiale, prêt pour la poussée, et à permettre ainsi l'arrivée d'un nouveau lot de bois.
