A system for stabilizing a paper web (3) in a paper machine comprises at least three cylinders (4, 5, 6) which form a pocket space between them, a blow box (7) in the pocket space with a blow nozzle (12), and nozzle slot (19), a separate wall (10), aligned with the blow box (7), and attached to the blow box (7), whose height in the travelling direction of the paper web (3) is 25 - 300% of the height of the blow box (7), in the free edge there has been arranged a boundary layer air doctor (15), which extends substantially to the surface of the cylinder (4, 5, 6), whereby the blow box (7) so that the blow box (7) and the wall (10) form a space in the area between the opening nip (8) and the closing nip (9) following it, into which space an underpressure can be arranged in order to support the paper web (3) towards the fabric (2) in the area between said nips (8, 9).
L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à stabiliser une bande de papier (3) dans une machine à papier, qui comprend au moins trois cylindres (4, 5, 6) disposés de manière à former entre eux un espace de poche ; une caisse aspirante (7) est placée dans l'espace de poche et équipée d'une buse de soufflage (12) dans laquelle a été aménagée une fente (19) ; une paroi séparée (10), sensiblement dans la direction de la caisse aspirante (7), qui a une première et une seconde arêtes sensiblement parallèles, a été fixée par sa première arête à ladite caisse aspirante (7), sa hauteur dans la direction du déplacement de la bande de papier (3) correspondant à 25 300 % de celle de la caisse aspirante (7) dans la direction du déplacement de ladite bande de papier (3) ; sur la seconde arête de la paroi, on a disposé une lame d'air de couche limite (15), qui s'étend sensiblement sur la surface du cylindre (4, 5, 6), et ladite paroi (10) a été fixée à la caisse aspirante (7) de façon que toutes deux forment un espace dans la zone entre la ligne d'ouverture (8) et la ligne de fermeture (9) qui la suit, espace dans lequel on peut exercer une pression réduite afin de maintenir la bande de papier (3) en direction du tissu (2) dans la zone entre lesdites lignes (8,9).
