ABSTRACT An arrangement for the attachment of bendable, elongated objects, in particular suction tubes, along the side of packing containers, the said arrangement comprising a conveyor track for the successive advancing of packing containers to an application position, also a synchronously rotating or revolting drum which comprises a number of receiving spaces for the said objects arranged around the periphery of the drug, also an applicator for the application of a bonding agent to each of the packing containers advanced and also means for the transfer of the said objects from the drum to the packing containers, the said drum in application position is placed so that the axis of rotation of the drum and the diagonal lines over the sides of the packing containers facing towards the drum are parallel with one another, that the said applicator for application of bonding Agent is constituted of two applicator dies located at different height over the conveyor track, the upper die being arranged so as to deposit bonding agent on the side wall of the packing container along two or more areas separated from one another adjoining, or near to, the upper side edge line of the said side whereas the lower die is adapted to deposit bonding agent along an area adjoining, or near to one of the lower corners of the said side and that the arrangement comprises means for the folding and retaining of the attached objects, these means being constituted of a number of rolls arranged in series or of an endless band.
