An arrangement comprises a surge arrester (1, 1a). Said surge arrester (1, 1a) comprises a first and a second connector terminal (4, 5). At least one connector terminal (4, 5) is connected to an electroconductive connecting path (6) to contact the surge arrester (1, 1a). The connecting path (6) is mounted in a universally jointed fashion.
