The invention relates to an arrangement in a snowmobile equipped with an apparatus for intensifying steering, which intensifying apparatus consists of the ski (1) of the snowmobile, which comprises a drum (3) rotated by means of actuators (2), the drum forming at least a part of the bearing surface (4) of the ski (1), the rotation axis (5) of the drum (3) being fitted with bearings in such a way that when the drum (3) rotates, the circumferential surface (6) of the drum moves transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the ski (1), and which drum (3) is provided with one or more ridges (8, 8') protruding from its circumferential surface (6), the ridges being essentially parallel with the rotation axis (5) of the drum (3). The drum (3) is provided with one or more locking means (20) preventing the rotation of the drum (3), the locking means being arranged to lock the drum (3) into a predetermined position when the apparatus for intensifying steering is not used and, correspondingly, to allow the drum (3) to rotate when the apparatus for intensifying steering is used.
L'invention concerne un agencement dans un motoneige équipé d'un appareil amplificateur de la direction, caractérisé en ce que ledit appareil comprend le ski (1) du motoneige, un tambour (3) entraîné en rotation par des organes de commande (2), le tambour constituant au moins une partie de la surface portante (4) du ski (1), l'axe de rotation (5) du tambour (3) est équipé de moyens de portée de telle façon que lorsque ledit tambour (3) tourne, la surface circonférentielle (6) du tambour se déplace transversalement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du ski (1), et en ce que le tambour (3) est muni d'une ou plusieurs arêtes (8, 8') en saillie à partir de sa surface circonférentielle (6), lesdites arêtes étant sensiblement parallèles à l'axe de rotation (5) du tambour (3). Le tambour (3) comporte un ou plusieurs moyens de verrouillage (20) empêchant la rotation de ce tambour (3), lesdits moyens de verrouillage étant agencés pour bloquer le tambour (3) en une position prédéterminée lorsque l'appareil amplificateur de la direction n'est pas opérationnel et, similairement, pour permettre la rotation du tambour (3) lorsque l'appareil amplificateur de la direction est utilisé.
