Abstract of the Disclosure: Arrangement in a venetian blind production machine com- prising a store with a freely rotatable coil of slat-forming strip from which coil the strip is unwound to be cut off to any desired slat lengths. The strip store is formed of a revolving table which is rotatable about a pivot shaft and accommodates a number of coils. On the revolving table the coils are rotatably arranged with their pivot pins extending tangentially relative to a circle centered around the pivot shaft. The arrangement also comprises a movable arm which is arranged outside the revolving table and whose one end is insertable between neigh- bouring coils on the revolving table. This end of the arm is fitted with a braking device which, in the inserted position of the arm, is movable to a position of engagement in which the braking device is operatively connected to a selected coil for braking the rotation thereof under the action of a detecting device during unwinding of the strip and pulling in thereof into the venetian blind production machine.
