ARRANGEMENT OF FILTER BAGS IN ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to an arrangement of filter bags in electric vacuum cleaners in which the filter bag has a bottom plate which has an insertion opening for a fan-side air-blast socket and at least one side-edge indentation and is arranged in the manner of a transverse wall in a filter-bag chamber which is adjacent a motor-fan housing and can be lifted off from it, and it proposes, in order to obtain a stable development which is favorable for assembly, that a second side-edge indentation lie opposite said first side-edge indentation and that housing-side profections extend into both indentations and protrude to beyond the lower side of the bottom plate.
