ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an arrangement of one or a plurality of contact supports for electrical resistance heating that is applied to the foil-coated inner side of upholstery materials and which are joined so as to be sealed by additional welded or cemented foils, which are associated with the seat and/or backrest areas, in particular the configuration of the seat or backrest portions of vehicle seats. It is essential to the present invention that the strain relief (6) is arranged at a distance from the plane of the heater wire (2) for the attachment of the connector cable (3), in which connection the distance between the plane of the heater wire (2), i.e., the cover foil and the strain guage (6) is adjusted by means of a circular foam disk that is formed of foam or another elastic material that is arranged at a specific point. (Figures 1 and 2)
