ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An arrangement at a continuous casting plant includes a continuous casting mold suspended or supported on a sta- tionary supporting structure and an ultrasonic transducer. In order to provide an arrangement in which the mold side walls may be designed in a conventional manner with the effective acoustic capacity being increased and losses being largely avoided, at least one ultrasonic transducer is fastened to the continuous casting mold, on the one hand, and to the stationary supporting structure, on the other hand.
