The present invention relates to light transmitting arrangements comprising a light emitting device, for example a light emitting diode (LED) and an arrangement for peaking the current through the light emitting device upon switching on and/or off. The peaking arrangement comprises a peaking network which is arranged in parallel with a light emitting device which network is a passive network.
