ABSTRACT The invention relates to long-line fishing gear consisting of a long supporting main line on which snoods are arranged at suitable intervals and wherein each snood is fitted with a hook which may be baited. At the top of the hook's leg there is a generally spherical knob which prevents movement of the hook in the direction of the leg when the knob lies in a corresponding track perpendicular to the leg.
