A portable device to protect the finish of any surface it may be placed upon to provide a straight edge for the proper alignment of the roll being cut to length and being light enough to be easily used. Three guide bars provide easy alignment for a straight cut . The device provides a cutting surface , thus preventing defacement of the supporting surface. The instructions are printed in plain view and a hole in one end is provided for hanging while in storage. The device is portable, light and easy to use. A paper roll may be positioned on the device and accurately cut in a single, swift action.
