A carrier (10) for bottles. The handle area (22 24) of the top panel (14) is reinforced by a strap (26) connected at its ends to a dust flap (54, 62) in each end panel. The strap (26) is adhered to the top panel (14) and portion of the upper end panel flaps (18), while the portions extending to the dust flaps (54, 62) comprise gusset webs (79, 81). During formation of a carrier from an erected flattened tube, the dust flaps (54, 62) connected to the reinforcing strap (26) are automatically closed upon raising the upper end panel flaps (18). This pulls the upper dust flap portions (64) in against the bottle necks, providing a tight fit between the bottles and the upper portions of the carrier (10).
Cette invention concerne un emballage de transport (10) de bouteilles. La zone constituant la poignée (22, 24) du panneau supérieur (14) est renforcée par une bande (26) reliée au niveau de ses extrémités à un rabat antipoussière (54, 62) de chaque panneau d'extrémité. La bande (26) est collée au panneau supérieur (14) et à des parties des rabats (18) du panneau d'extrémité supérieur, alors que les parties s'étendant jusqu'aux rabats antipoussière (54, 62) comportent des bandes faisant office de soufflet (79, 81).
